Our Roots and The Wagyu Legacy

Our journey began with humble roots, growing up on a family farm in South Carolina. From an early age, we learned the importance of hard work and dedication in the world of cattle farming. Our responsibilities ranged from tending to crops and hay production to contributing to our family’s cattle, poultry, and pork processing business. We even venture into the realm of produce delivery routes throughout the upstate of South Carolina.

As we honed our skills and immersed ourselves in the intricacies of farming, our passion for raising cattle continued to grow. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with various cattle breeds, including Angus, Hereford, Santa Gertrudis, Charolais, and Simmental. The lifelong pursuit laid the foundation for a remarkable journey.

Our involvement in the family business paved the way for an exciting project- the development of a world-class Wagyu Cattle operation. Wagyu cattle, a Japanese breed renowned for producing the best marbling steaks in the world, have become the heart and soul of Durham Creek Ranch. Our commitment to excellence has enabled us to perfect the art of Wagyu farming, resulting in an exceptional range of products that satisfy every palate.
